Installation Guide

Follow these steps to set up your Yaelix Digital Signage Player.

Step 1: Prepare Hardware

1. Connect your Digital Signage player to the display
2. Connect the player to the internet (LAN or WiFi)
3. Power on the player
4. Note down the Player ID (visible on the startup screen)

Step 2: Install Player Software

Choose your player platform:

Windows Player

# Download and Installation
wget https://cdn.yaelix.com/player/windows/setup.exe -OutFile setup.exe
./setup.exe

Linux Player (Raspberry Pi)

# Installation via Terminal
curl -sSL https://install.yaelix.com/player | sudo bash

Android Player

1. Open Google Play Store
2. Search for "Yaelix Player"
3. Install the app

Step 3: Activate Player

1. Log in to your Yaelix Dashboard
2. Navigate to "Players" → "New Player"
3. Enter the Player ID
4. Choose a name for the player
5. Assign the player to a group (optional)

Step 4: Configure Display

1. Set screen orientation (portrait/landscape)
2. Adjust resolution
3. Set timezone
4. Define operating hours
5. Check network settings

Troubleshooting

If you encounter installation issues:

1. Check the player's internet connection
2. Ensure the Player ID was entered correctly
3. Check firewall settings
4. Verify system requirements

System Requirements

• Windows: Windows 10/11, 4GB RAM, 32GB Storage
• Raspberry Pi: Pi 4 or newer, 2GB RAM
• Android: Android 8.0 or newer
